I am reading the book "getting revenge on Lauren Wood." It's a very funny, exciting and thrilling book. I love the characters. The Main character Helen, is a really sweet girl inside, but she has to get revenge on her ex-best friend, Lauren. Lauren ditched her for popularity, and shes been popular ever since, but in 8th Grade Helen moves to a new town, 3 years later shes back, new, different, and still wants to get revenge on Lauren. I can sort of relate to Helen too, because my ex- Best friend also ditched me for popularity, drugs, and alcohol. I don't think ditching your best-friend is the best thing, because being up there only lasts for a little while, but then someone else will be more popular than you, and your own followers will follow the "new, hot and beautiful" creation.
I predict Lauren will soon notice Helen, and be quite embarrassed to even face her. Like what would the most popular person in the school say, "I'm so sorry for being a mean person to you?" like no. That won't happen, not at all.
I also think Lauren and Helen will be close friends, and Helen will think, wow, so this is what she left me for, I would do the same. Maybe Helen will notice, after all popularity is great, so I shouldn't ruin it by being rude to Helen.
People always say, Forgive and Forget. But is it always that simple?
